Representative Bob Wittke is a lifelong resident of the 62nd Assembly District.
After graduating from William Horlick High School in 1975, he attended the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire where he earned a BA degree in Accounting. He has been a finance and accounting professional for over 35 years, working in all aspects of corporate taxation.
In 2017, Bob took up the challenge of improving our public education system head-on. He was elected to the Racine Unified School District Board of Education and served two terms as the Board President choosing not to seek re-election in 2019.
He is a former member on the Steering Committee of the Academies of Racine with several other elected officials, business leaders, and higher education advisers.
Bob is the proud father of four children. He and his wife Alison currently reside in Wind Point with their two younger children. His older two children are graduates of the University of Wisconsin System.
Bob has a vested interest in seeing his community thrive with small businesses, local employment opportunities, and a safe effective education system. Those principles will guide him as he serves the constituents of the 62nd Assembly District in Madison.
